About Us

Built by a team of operators who've scaled this before.

Conexus Labs exists because the handoff between sales and implementation was the most expensive, least examined problem in technical GTM — and the people who'd actually lived through it kept solving it the same way, alone, at every company they joined.

How It Started

The same problem, company after company.

Every embedded software deal has the same shape: a sales conversation, a technical scoping conversation, an implementation, and then ongoing support — and at almost every company, those four stages are owned by four different people who barely talk to each other. Context gets lost at every seam. The client re-explains their use case three times. The person who sold the deal isn't in the room when it breaks.

That pattern showed up at a payments infrastructure company, at a fintech lender, at a rewards platform, and at an enterprise software vendor — different products, same fracture. The fix was never "hire a fifth person to coordinate the other four." The fix was removing the handoff entirely, by having one person own the deal from prospect to production.

Conexus Labs started as a bet that AI tooling had finally made that one-person model possible — not just for a single deal, but as a repeatable practice.
The Timeline

From a recurring frustration to a named practice.

EARLY
Technical integrations, the hard way Years spent inside solutions engineering and implementation roles at banks, fintechs, and infrastructure providers — watching the same handoff break in slightly different ways each time.
MIDDLE
Sales engineering and GTM, full circle Moving into pre-sales and product marketing made the other half of the fracture visible — deals were being sold by people who had no path back into how they'd actually get built.
NOW
Conexus Labs and the FDO model AI-assisted tooling closed the gap that used to require four hires. Conexus Labs is the practice built around one operator running the full pipeline — for fintechs, banks, and AI-native startups who don't want to staff a department to fix a seam.
What We Believe

A few things we won't compromise on.

01

Output over title

The swim lane someone sits in matters less than what actually ships. We hire and work this way ourselves.

02

Embedded, not advisory

We don't hand over a slide deck and leave. An FDO is in the account, in the codebase, and accountable for the result.

03

Range is the credential

Seed to public, banks to AI startups — the breadth of company stage and buyer type is what makes the model work, not a narrow specialty.

Who We've Worked With

Built across the full range of company stage and buyer type.

Backgrounds spanning BaaS leaders, Series D fintechs, rewards platforms, top SaaS companies, and early-stage VC-backed startups — sold to and implemented for, not just advised.
